John Clark: Owner and Operator
Hello, my name is John Clark. I have been recording and producing music for over 20 years. I earned my BA in Music at Tufts University and trained as an engineer at Blue Jay Recording Studio in Carlisle, MA. I have received dozens of awards and accolades for my work in contemporary a cappella music and have released a number of recordings for songwriters and bands in multiple genres worldwide. I have real-world experience in arranging music for clients; focusing on vocal and string arrangements. I've also had several interns through the years and I'm currently teaching and creating music remotely.

Producer+Engineer
As a producer and engineer, I’m able to collaborate with the artist to achieve the production style and sound quality needed to market the product on the highest level. My services range from simple audio editing to full-blown song, EP, and LP production. Through the years, I've mastered the art of seamless and transparent vocal/audio editing using Melodyne and ProTools.
Writer+Performer
As a writer, instrumentalist, and vocalist, I'm able to arrange and perform music from top to bottom or to whatever degree the artist desires. Vocal and string arrangements are my strong suit. I’ve been trained in vocals, piano, guitar (classical, acoustic, and electric), violin, bass (electric and acoustic), and mandolin. I'm also familiar with banjo, drums, and percussion instruments including xylophone and glockenspiel. I'm skilled in extensive midi sequencing and some keyboard programming.

Specialized Genres
While I have worked with many artists interested in varying musical styles, the genres I specialize in are:
Electric pop, jazz, pop-rock, world, hip hop, choral, folk/acoustic and psychedelic folk.
I also speak Spanish.
